Anyone Else Teething Still?

We never have to look very far to see that Scout is still teething. For example, take a look at what she did to her Frisbee in about half an hour last night:

She ate a NylaBone Healthy Edible a few days ago in about 15 seconds flat. What’s really funny is how she acted like she was savoring it, but demolished it in no time. Afterward she looked at us like, “Well, can I have another one?”

She’s lost her all her baby canines now, practically overnight it seems. And in what seems like a blink of an eye, she’ll turn six months old.

I want to do something special for her six-month birthday, so I might try my hand at making some homemade dog bones. If they’ve got peanut butter in them, Scout is sure to love them!

If you’re looking for a super simple PB biscuit recipe, we posted a photo tutorial on our blog a few months ago. They came together in a snap and Gus loved them. If you don’t want to bother with a cookie cutter (the most time-consuming part), I’d recommend just rolling out the dough and cutting them into squares/rectangles. They freeze well too!

This is a great blog – I’ve never raised a pup, and it is so much fun to read about other’s experiences!! Just wanted to let you know I’m adding your page to my blogroll, so I can continue to follow Scout as she grows. And definitely keep the photos coming – she is way too cute!

Thanks for the idea, Gus! And Donna, thanks for the compliments :) It’s nice to know that the blog is being enjoyed.
